Indie Craft Parade
Their Problem
The Indie Craft Parade needed to coordinate groups of volunteers for their event. They accomplished this via a Google Form and sheet combination, and required a lot of manual sorting of people into different slots.
Our Solution
We moved the volunteer system into Airtable, allowing us to work with interested volunteers and fluidly move them between shifts as needed.
We created a script in Airtable that evaluates the volunteer shift loads and automatically assigns volunteers to time shifts in the most even way possible, completely automating what was once a very manual process.
